Lorenz Noelle Design / Owner

Lorenz Noelle is a Munich-based industrial designer whose work is defined by a consistent search for the essence of form. His approach is rooted in a radical reduction to the essentials, combining contextual research with respectful treatment of materials and hands-on approach.

During his bachelor’s degree from the Munich University of Applied Sciences he gained professional experience at the studio Jehs+Laub in Stuttgart. Noelle further refined his expertise at the ECAL, University of Art and Design in Lausanne Switzerland. He completed his Master’s in Product Design under the guidance of Erwan Bouroullec, Anniina Koivu, Kim Colin, and Augustin Scott de Martinville.

Since 2021, he is running his own studio working across diverse fields ranging from furniture and exhibition design to everyday objects. In addition to his independent practice, he serves as Design Lead at Ambright, focusing on innovative lighting design. His commitment to design quality has earned him several honors, most recently the German Design Award, confirming his role as a compelling voice in contemporary industrial design.
